Your key and data live only in this browser. Audio and transcripts are sent directly to OpenAI for transcription and scoring — nothing touches our servers (there aren’t any).

OpenAI API key

Get one at platform.openai.com → API keys. Required for recording, transcription and scoring.

Transcription model

Default: gpt-4o-mini-transcribe · use gpt-4o-transcribe for top accuracy

Scoring model

Default: gpt-5.5-mini · use gpt-5.5 for top accuracy

Your data

Back up your streak, scored answers and vocabulary, or restore them on another device. The export never includes your API key.

Privacy: this is a static site with no backend. Your API key is stored in localStorage and used only to call OpenAI directly from your browser.
